ANNOUNCEMENTS
🐝 New hives launching in January - sign-ups open!
Looking for peer support, community, and inspiration for discovering what’s next? Join our hives program to gather biweekly with a 8-10 others who are also navigating retirement. Each virtual session is led by a facilitator and discusses topics including finding purpose, creating structure, and staying socially and physically active. We’ll be kicking-off our next hives in January!
WHAT WE’RE LOVING
🗞 How to Talk to Your Partner about Retirement
Are you actively grappling with the question of whether and when to retire in the new year? One key consideration may be the implications to your partner and/or family - check out this article from Next Avenue on how to have a productive conversation about retirement with your partner. When's the right time to retire? Have you saved enough (and what does "enough" mean)? How best to spend your time? Should you relocate, and if so, where?
UPCOMING EVENTS
Friday 12/15 at 1-2pm EST: Article discussion on “What does retirement look like for the sandwich generation?” (virtual)
How has your responsibilities for aging parents / children / grandchildren impacted your vision and plans for retirement? What strategies have you considered or implemented to address these challenges and work towards a fulfilling retirement? As requested by multiple members in the group, join us in a discussion to share and reflect on this topic. RSVP here.
